Plant Manager

Description

Most Plant Managers are responsible for satisfying all budgetary constraints at the plant and working elements, including safety, quality, labor relations, human resources, production, delivery, costs, and community relations. Essentially, the buck stops with you with respect to anything and everything that a plant does or fails to do.

Challenge

A challenge for many Plant Managers can be forecasting and delivering a consistent production stream that meets quality standards and matches the sales demand. Many times, expectations of the production capacity of the plant are unrealistic or are based on less than statistically sound analyses. You find that when there are multiple layers of risk, the system becomes unstable.
